A Season of Summer Opulence

il Cielo Summer Opulence Seasonal Tasting Menu

Driven by the passion of using only the freshest seasonal ingredients, Chef Yohhei Sasaki of il Cielo rooftop Italian restaurant will be celebrating the start of the season with the curated Summer Opulence tasting menu that is available for a limited time only from May to July. Staying true to the restaurant’s ethos of elevating Italian gastronomy to its peak, diners can expect a sensorial culinary journey through handcrafted cuisine using refined Italian techniques perfected with Japanese precision.

The Summer Opulence menu represents Chef Sasaki’s expression of the season, showcasing a line-up of both Italian and Japanese specialities that incorporate in-season ingredients flown in from Italy and Japan. The menu spotlights premium ingredients, such as fresh snow crab from Hokkaido, Sicilian red prawns and three kinds of Sicilian tomatoes, Japanese eggplant and myoga (ginger flower).

Before concluding the evening on a sweet note, diners will be pleasantly surprise with the unmissable Chef Sasaki’s signature speciality of aglio olio e pepperoncino that is only available on his seasonal menu series.

Summer Opulence Menu ranges from 4- to 7-courses, priced from $118 onward (additional $50 onward for wine pairing)
